Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement monitoring systems and strategies for large-scale environments
Develop and maintain time-series databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
Implement centralized push methods via vCenter/ESXi APIs
Build and optimize agent-based pull distributed metrics collection systems
Utilize open source monitoring tools to enhance system performance
Apply containerization and orchestration techniques using Docker and Kubernetes
Develop microservices following serverless architecture principles
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and implementing monitoring systems
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Java preferred)
Strong understanding and practical application of the Open Telemetry framework
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Expertise in database design and optimization
Familiarity with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Java, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Prometheus, and Grafana
Experience in building monitoring systems in multi-cloud environments
Understanding of and practical experience with DevOps methodologies
