Job Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed soil surveys and sampling across forest management areas
Analyze soil properties, nutrient content, and physical characteristics
Develop and implement soil conservation strategies
Monitor and assess soil quality indicators in various forest ecosystems
Provide recommendations for sustainable forest management practices
Collaborate with forestry teams on land use planning
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations
Maintain detailed documentation of soil analysis and research findings
Support environmental impact assessments
Contribute to research projects and publications
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Soil Science, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in soil science, preferably in forestry sector
Proven experience with soil sampling techniques and analysis
Strong knowledge of Indonesian soil types and tropical forest ecosystems
Proficiency in soil analysis software and GIS applications
Excellent technical report writing skills
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Physical ability to conduct fieldwork in challenging terrain
Experience with environmental compliance regulations
