We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Manager to join our client’s FMCG (non-food) manufacturing company based in Tangerang. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet the company's high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in quality control and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance & Control: Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw materials to finished products, ensuring all goods meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and optimize quality control procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all production stages.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with both local and international quality standards (such as ISO, GMP) and any relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the QC team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to maintain a high-performance culture.

  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and outsourced products meet company expectations.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate any quality failures, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate quality control records, develop quality reports, and present findings to senior management.

  • Audit & Inspection: Coordinate and lead both internal and external audits to assess quality standards and make necessary improvements.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure that the quality control procedures align with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a non-food FMCG manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of quality control tools, techniques, and best practices, including familiarity with ISO standards and GMP.

  • Proven leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills, capable of managing and developing teams effectively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify issues and drive corrective actions.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present quality reports to senior leadership.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), and proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
