Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in data science.

  • Supervise and mentor students in research projects, theses, and dissertations.

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in data science, aiming for publication in top-tier journals and conferences.

  • Secure research funding through grants and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions to promote interdisciplinary research.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the data science curriculum.

  • Participate in academic service activities, including committee work and outreach efforts.

Job requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated excellence in research with a strong record of recent publications in reputable journals and conferences.

  • Proven teaching experience at the university level, with positive evaluations.

  • Experience in supervising and mentoring students.

  • Ability to attract research funding and manage research projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
