Select Headhunter is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Production Manager to join our client's dynamic team, a big local industrial manufacturing company in Jakarta, Indonesia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the factory operations and will implement production strategies based on work orders. Job responsibilities:
Plan daily routines for factory operations including conducting safety talks before work commences and supervise and coach workers on the production floor to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Implement production strategies based on work orders received from PPIC and ensure efficient operation of the production facility to achieve maximum productivity.
Monitor assembly methods to ensure product quality standards are met.
Enforce high-quality control standards throughout the production process and maintain factory cleanliness and good housekeeping practices.
Regularly inspect finished products to ensure compliance with company quality standards and implement machine maintenance procedures to prevent sudden breakdowns.
Prepare weekly production schedules and reports for management review.
Utilize knowledge of product costs to support decision-making processes.
Present reports to Production Manager on factory performance.
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management or a related field.
Proven experience as a Assistant Production Manager or similar role in manufacturing industrial/metal components, metal spare parts, metal works, or metal machining.
Professional certification in Production Management and Quality Control preferred.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and policies.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
Problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve factory operations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
