Job Responsibilities:
Lead the R&D team in the development of new products, processes, and technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals and market needs.
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and research to commercialization and scale-up.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of new products into the company’s portfolio.
Stay abreast of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes to guide the R&D strategy and maintain the company’s competitive edge.
Manage the R&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to prioritize high-impact projects and initiatives.
Foster a culture of innovation within the R&D team, encouraging experimentation, continuous learning, and collaboration.
Develop and maintain relationships with external research institutions, universities, and industry partners to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaborative projects.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the research and development process.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in R&D within the chemical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
Strong technical expertise in chemical processes, product development, and industry-specific technologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of researchers and engineers.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
