Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Oversee the engineering department, managing a team of engineers and technical staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with company goals, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain robust quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safety.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in engineering software and tools, with extensive knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to address complex engineering challenges.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is preferred.
